From 10am today, Friday March 14, Bundaberg Regional Council along with emergency services will be conducting a field training exercise at the Bundaberg Airport as part of the airport’s regular accreditation requirements.
As part of this exercise small controlled fires will be lit to help simulate a plane crash and adult role players will be simulating injured plane passengers.
Public are advised not to be concerned about any smoke or the presence of emergency service vehicles and personnel at the airport between 10am and midday today.
